The Law of Attraction and Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a very interesting time in a woman’s life.  Inside you is a living, breathing creature forming slowly, changing from tiny cells into a fully formed baby, kicking and thrashing around in your belly.  Hormones go wild, you have bizarre cravings, and your moods swing left and right like the arm of a metronome.  But did you know that using the Law of Attraction, you can help yourself and your unborn child to develop more smoothly, soothe unrestful babies and prevent complications? 

The most important thing, of course, is ensuring you will have a healthy baby!  Do not engage in long worry sessions over all of the things that potentially could go wrong during your pregnancy.  Doing so can cause you real complications, attract bad circumstances, and create an emotional field of worry and fear around you.  Deal with any complications as they come up – certainly do not attempt to anticipate any problems!  Do daily, or at least weekly, visualizations of you and your very healthy, happy baby together after the birth.  Imagine all of the things you look forward to, such as feeding, burping, dressing and playing with your baby.  Stress is already proven to create physical problems – removing stress as often as possible will help your pregnancy to stay smooth.  Visualizing your baby and you is a great way to release stressful thoughts and begin feeling excited again.

Next, did you realize that your thoughts, feelings and attitudes during pregnancy can greatly influence the mental state of the child you are creating?  If you allow the mood swings that can come with pregnancy to rule you, you may end up putting quite a bit of angry and sad energy into your energy field, which of course your baby will absorb.  Negative thinking patterns will be absorbed into your baby’s mind and may cause your baby to come out with a grumpy, pessimistic disposition.  Do your best to stay between neutral and happy.  Of course this isn’t always possible, but just be sure you do not spend a very significant amount of time feeling angry or sad.  Try to alter your moods whenever possible.  And when you aren’t able or willing to change your mood, don’t feel guilty later – just let it be what it is! 

Finally, as often as you can during your pregnancy, visualize giving birth.  Try to imagine it being as painless and uncomplicated as possible.  If you do so throughout your pregnancy, you may be able to have a very quick, relatively painless birth.  Continue imagining an easy, quick birth, and magnetize that energy around you.  Do not spend too much time worrying about pain – focus on an image of painless birth.  Also by imagining this scene often, you can put an end to what is often the biggest fear of pregnant women.  Repeated and extended imagining of something diminishes the fear around it, and if you paint a positive picture every time, you will most likely end up having a very positive experience. 

Most of all, enjoy your pregnancy!  Enjoy satisfying those strange cravings, being pampered by your husband, and anticipating the birth of your new loved one.  This is a unique time in your life – enjoy it!

Shape Up With the Law of Attraction!

Don't worry, this is not an intro for a new Richard Simmons video! I have created an  acronym out of the word `shape' that will help us all remember to stay the course with the Law of Attraction.

Spiritual Strength
Hopefulness
Aspirations
Pursuit of Power
Expectations

I really appreciate acronyms, they seem to become easily ensconced into my memory, providing easy to draw on nuggets of information.

Spiritual strengths are without a doubt your most valuable asset. You may rule the world, and all it's wealth, however if you lack a fortified spiritual foundation, what have you? How do you exercise your spiritual strength? Be it meditation, prayer, studying ancient wisdom, sitting at the feet of today's inspirational masters, or perhaps a combination of any of these, it is of vital importance that you do not neglect this area of your life. For the Law of Attraction to be activated on your behalf, you must provide it a spiritually clean slate to receive the positive flow that waits to surround you. If there is an aura of disharmony about your spirit, you will never achieve the fullness of joy that would have been yours for the asking.

To truly appreciate and anticipate that which is to be, we must constantly maintain a heart established in hopefulness. Hopefulness is not `wishful thinking'. Rather it is a reasonable expectation of that which will occur. Have you reason to believe your aspirations will be manifested into reality? If you are following the Law of Attraction you most certainly do. Evidence abounds regarding the limitless power that is yours to command. Exude hopefulness, and allow your hopes to be fulfilled through the Law of Attraction.

Your personally defined aspirations should be yours alone. No one, at this exact moment, stands before the bountiful table of the Law of Attraction, with precisely your plateful of dreams and desires to fulfill. The more finely honed your aspirations become, the more this will be true. Allow your heart to guide your aspirations. You are uniquely created for greatness, but that personal definition of greatness must come from the well spring of your own spirit. Don't borrow anyone else's aspirations, you will be short changing your future. Focus solely on your private and individual ambitions, allowing the Law of Attraction to materialize them for you.

The pursuit of power is perhaps the easiest of things that we must focus on to achieve enlightened success. The Law of Attraction does not actually require our pursuit of it. It does, however, demand our respect, our attention, and certainly our positively channeled energy to reflect back to us. As you consider the infinite power at your disposal, surely you are desirous of it being useful to you in a highly personal manner. 

Consider your expectations for what the Law of Attraction can bring into your life. Again, it is your own energy, either positive or negative, that fuels the Law of Attraction, so that which you are projecting, is that which you will receive, and then some! Based on this reality, shouldn't all of our expectations be centered on the positive? Concentrate your energy always towards the positive, and demand of your self that your expectations be absolutely enriching to you. This affirming attitude will be the difference in all you do today, and all you will do tomorrow.

Healing With the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is the powerful law that states that whatever thoughts you hold in your mind will become manifest in the physical world.  It takes emotion to make thoughts manifest, and emotions can also work as a guidance system for your manifestation efforts.  Learning to heal with the Law of Attraction is not as difficult as you may think.  In a lot of ways, it’s not much different than your basic prayer.

Using the Law of Attraction, you can help friends, family members, strangers, or even yourself overcome illnesses and disease.  Start by using visualization to picture the person in question in tip top health.  Feel the happiness, peace and warmth of the person (even if it’s you) due to their healthiness.  The person is happy and serene, and this feeling should permeate your visualization.  Think health, feel happiness, and allow healing.

Take a little time out of each day to project this image to the universe.  Do it for a moment in the morning.  Do it for a moment at lunch.  Do it for a moment in the afternoon, and work on it again after dinner.  Project a healthy image of the sick person as you drift off to sleep.  Do not engage in worrying over their state.  Do not engage in fear about their health.  To whatever extent possible, distance yourself from the current reality going on with their health and invest your energy and thoughts into the intent of their wellness.

In many situations that can be difficult to do, especially with family members or people who are close to you.  Obviously don’t undercut their difficulties when they are with you, but remain positive and confident that they will heal.  Allow them to feel this emanating from you.  On a subconscious level, this will help them to begin to believe in their own healthiness as well.  Meanwhile the universe will be working with you to make this healing a reality.

Finally, there are some cases in which a person is ready to pass from this life into the next.  Illness is an easy way to do this.  There will be some cases where your healing efforts may not seem to help at all.  There may even be cases where the person in question will pass.  This is not your fault.  If someone is ready to go, and it is their time, they will pass.  This, in itself, is a healing for that person.  In many cases however, you will actually watch the person begin to improve, until one day they may be healthy as can be.

The Law of Attraction and Your Body

The Law of Attraction has worked for many people who sought to gain financial freedom.  It has helped many to experience fuller lives through better relationships.  The Law of Attraction can also have a profound affect on your body. 

Think first of how the Law of Attraction works.  You are made up of energy and the energy you send out is positive or negative.  This will depend upon whether you focus on the good things in life or the bad. 

This will not only affect others, but it will affect you as well.  If you want to send out positive energy, you will want to concentrate on the upbeat things in your life.  One way to use the Law of Attraction to do this is visualization. 

Athletes use a form of seeing what future actions will hold.   This technique is called Visual Motor Rehearsal.  These athletes are practicing the Law of Attraction.  They can be hooked up to all kinds of monitors and then practice an athletic event in their minds. 

The monitors will show that their muscles obey their thoughts even though they are not being actively used.  Then, when it comes time to actually do the activity, they are very much prepared.  This is the Law of Attraction. 

With the Law of Attraction, you can feel the reality of your plans and dreams coming true.  This can be done in the same way as the athletes do it, by visualization.  This can help you with a physical task you are about to undertake. 

You might be planning to climb Mt. Everest or simply swim your first lap around the pool.  If you can use the Law of Attraction to visualize it and believe the results, you can make it happen.  Your positive feelings about accomplishing a difficult undertaking will come back to you in the form of positive energy for you. 

The Law of Attraction has also been used for healing.  No one suggests that medicine should not be used.  However, thought among those who lecture and write about the Law of Attraction is that the medicine can be helped immensely by the use of positive energy. 

The placebo effect should prove that thinking can influence your health.  If people feel good about a medicine they are being given, they will more likely be healed by it.  This is true whether the medicine is a highly developed scientific formula or a sugar pill. 

Some conditions require much treatment and medication.  People with these conditions often get depressed or discouraged.  If they can keep their focus on positive things, they have a better chance of survival.  Knowing the Law of Attraction can help them to do this. 

Part of using the Law of Attraction to heal is to visualize the process of getting better.  As you come to believe you are getting better, it turns out that you actually do.  Another way to use the Law of Attraction is to dwell on the good by surrounding yourself with things you enjoy.  This will keep the focus on the positive energy. 

The Law of Attraction is not only good for your wallet.  It can help other aspects of your life, too.  If you have a physical challenge to overcome, the Law of Attraction can help you. 

Losing Weight Using the Law of Attraction

A very popular question about the Law of Attraction is “can it be used for weight loss?”  The answer is a definitive yes!  However there are a few steps you should take to ensure success.

First, you need to become aware of the negative thoughts surrounding us about weight.  “If you eat that, you’ll get fat.”  “Obesity is genetic and can’t be controlled.”  “It’s hard to lose weight.”  Now, these extremely common statements and regularly accepted “facts” are part of the root cause of our obesity problems.  What we accept, we allow.  What we believe, is. 

If you have accepted that eating certain foods will make you fat, and then proceed to eat them because you like them, you may expect to grow fat.  If you accept that obesity is genetic, you will not attempt to lose weight.  You won’t even try.  And if you accept that losing weight is difficult, as almost anyone will happily tell you, then you are agreeing that your path to losing weight must be difficult, if not impossible.

However, step back and take a good hard look at your beliefs about diet, exercise, and weight.  Do you believe that because you are a couch potato or a computer geek, your lack of exercise will cause you to become fat?  Then don’t be surprised when it happens.  Do you believe that eating the large fries instead of small is going to probably make you fat?  You’re probably already gaining weight.  Our beliefs, thoughts and expectations firmly dictate our reality.  So if you want to change your reality, first you need to change your thoughts.

This world of solid matter is not nearly as solid as it appears.  It is in fact woven from a maelstrom of subatomic particles, whizzing and whirling around, inhabiting less than 1% of all space.  These particles can simply blink in and out of existence and teleport from one spot to another.  That’s not science fiction – that’s science fact. 

Bring it up a few levels, and you have the human cells.  Most of the cells in your body die and are replaced fairly frequently.  These cells grow according to what you place in your body and what nutrients they are given or deprived of.  If you begin a healthy lifestyle now, the potential for fast bodily change is very real, but you must be aware that this is possible, otherwise you are going to fall back onto the old stockpile belief of “losing weight is hard”. 

Your thoughts can easily manipulate your reality, and what could you possibly have more control over than your own physical body, the one apparatus in the physical world with which you do not appear to have a disconnect? (All disconnection from the external world is false, but appears to be real). 

But the most important thing in weight loss is your mental bodily image.  Every day you look at yourself in the mirror.  You snarl at your weight.  You groan that you do not look the way you want to.  You twist, turn and contort yourself and look with disgust at the part or parts of your body that you are unhappy with.  This is feeding negative energy into your bodily image, and that’s exactly what you will attract – more things to feel disgusted with about your body.

When you see yourself in the mirror, stop judging yourself and begin loving yourself.  That body carries you around, and you should be grateful that you have one at all!  Fully accept your body as it is right now, and decide that you would like to change it in order to give yourself a happier, healthier existence.  Again, accept your body in the mirror, and stop snarling and judging yourself.  When you love your body, then naturally your body will feel better and will become healthier. As this happens your body will naturally shift to fit the image that you are holding in your mind: a healthier, thinner body.  You will never lose weight while you judge yourself fat.  That is rule number 1, and unfortunately that is the rule that 99% of people break from the get-go.

I hope this has shed some light on how you can readjust your thinking to allow yourself to develop a thinner, healthier body using the Law of Attraction.  Good luck to you!
